Cutting Aluminium Sheets

Hey,

I was wondering what the maximum thickness of aluminium that can be cut using the FabLab CNC machine? I am considering using 5mm aluminium sheets to make a bracket for my undergraduate honours project. Would be keen to set up a time soon.

What are you constructing and what’s the size of the brackets you need? Do you have any rough designs or drawings to share?
