Machining resolution

Hello
I am not sure I can ask this kind of question but in the FABlab, is there any machine for fabricating 0.3 ~ 1mm depth? (it can be either 3D printing or CNC machining) I need riblet shape spacing about 0.3 mm (the smaller, the better)
Even micrometre range is awesome

We have equipment that may be able to produce something that could work. However, achieving a sharp edge at the top of the triangular prism and a length of 30cm will be difficult.
So before getting into potential manufacturing methods; How important is achieving this exact geometry to the application? And if it is, do you have a method of measuring the geometry of any produced part?
