Hi Ben,
That’s great to hear, and always wonderful to have collaborative opportunities with the uni. My email is rachel.choi@health.nsw.gov.au
Cheers,
Rachel
We would like to extend a warm welcome to everyone returning to campus for face-to-face learning this semester.
The FabLab will be operating to accommodate the needs of students and staff while observing COVID-safe practices as per university guidelines. We strongly advise users of the FabLab to maintain physical distancing of 1.5m, use hand sanitiser, and wear a face mask as necessary.
As FabLab staff are focusing on teaching and students returning to campus, work requests may only be submitted to the FabLab/MakerSpace with prior special consideration.
The FabLab will be running a number of induction/training sessions this semester. More details can be found in the wiki links below:
You might be thinking it’s all looking pretty complicated with all these different systems in place etc., and you would be right. Rest assured we are doing the best we can to consolidate, simplify, and streamline all things necessary to provide everyone with a consistent lab experience.
Be sure to also check out the wiki FAQs page for more information, like how to gain full wiki access.
If you are still unsure about anything, or have any additional queries, feel free to post a comment below or contact us at amme.lab@sydney.edu.au.
We look forward to seeing you in the lab!
