I was wondering what the maximum thickness of aluminium that can be cut using the FabLab CNC machine? I am considering using 5mm aluminium sheets to make a bracket for my undergraduate honours project. Would be keen to set up a time soon.

I talked with some people and heard there was water damage to the FabLab with recent storms - wondering when it will again be open to students?
I’m working on my final year thesis and would love the opportunity to use the facilities in the FabLab
